How can you help us?
Are you a seed enthusiast with good tree id? Do you have native plants on your property? We always welcome provenance seed collected by volunteers and community members to utilise at our nursery. Be sure to label correctly adding in location, aspect and soil type before you post or bring it in in person. If you are unsure of the id, take a photo and/ or attach a small sample with a detailed description of plant size, form, bark, leaf etc.
This helps us to maintain our seed bank of our diverse local flora which we then propagate to pass onto the public as affordable tubestock.
IF YOU CAN'T FIND A PLANT ON OUR STOCKLIST THEN DON'T BE DISCOURAGED. WE COLLABORATE WITH A DIVERSE RANGE OF NURSERIES AND IF WE DON'T STOCK IT WE CAN USUALLY GET WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.
The Nursery will be closing at Christmas from the 23rd of December 2012 and re-opening on the 3rd Jan 2013. Thanks for you support in 2012. Happy Christmas! Travel safe....we'll see you bright eyed and re-invigorated next year. | |
